SilverSneakers Launch at Johnson Park Recreation Center
Conyers, GA, March 4, 2025 — Johnson Park Recreation Center, located at 1781 Ebenezer Road, SW, is partnering to provide complementary memberships to members of the nationally recognized SilverSneakers® program. Through this collaboration, Parks & Recreation will launch the SilverSneakers® program Monday, March 10th. SilverSneakers® program offers older adults (65 & over) more opportunities to increase their levels of physical activity while motivating them to remain active. SilverSneakers by Tivity Health®, is the nation’s leading community fitness program designed exclusively for older adults.

About Johnson Park Recreation Center
Johnson Park Recreation Center is situated in the heart of Rockdale County’s Johnson Park. As the county’s sole designated recreation center, it offers a variety of excellent amenities, including meeting rooms, outdoor softball fields, an indoor pool, two gymnasiums, tennis courts, a fitness center, an indoor walking track, a Resource Opportunity Center (ROC Room), a playground, and more. The center’s hours of operation are as follows:
Monday to Friday 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM; Saturday 9:00 AM-6:00 PM
Parks & Recreation’s SilverSneakers program will allow eligible participants to enjoy the basketball gym, fitness center, indoor walking track, and swimming pool.
