Rockdale County Board of Elections Celebrates National Voter Registration Day
ROCKDALE COUNTY, Ga. – In recognition of National Voter Registration Day on Sept. 20, the Rockdale County Board of Elections is hosting a “Know Before You Go” voter information rally. Citizens are invited to stop by the Board of Elections Office at 1115 West Avenue, SW from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm on September 20 to:
| · Register to vote | · Verify your voter registration is up to date |
| · Know where to vote | · Confirm all voting dates/times |
| · Pick up a sample ballot | · Request a by-mail absentee ballot |
Those who are not able to attend the rally on Sept. 20 are encouraged to visit this link: https://mvp.sos.ga.gov/s/ to register to vote and to ensure that their voter information is current and accurate. Citizens may also register to vote online at https://georgia.gov/register-vote.
Rockdale County Voters may obtain a Sample Ballot from the Rockdale County website. Hover over ‘County Departments’ tab, click Board of Elections and look for the Sample Ballot tab. A Sample Ballot will also be included in homeowners’ water bill beginning this month.
The deadline to register for the Nov. 8 General Election is Oct. 11.
