Keeping Our Seniors Cool with a Box Fan Giveaway!

ROCKDALE COUNTY, Ga. – Chairman Oz Nesbitt will host the inaugural “Chillin’ with the Chairman” event at Olivia Haydel Senior Center – 1240 Dogwood Dr. SW Conyers, GA, on July 9th, 2023, at 3 p.m.

As Summer weather rolls in and temperatures rise, Rockdale County Chairman Oz Nesbitt set out to keep our seniors cool. Box fans will be given out to seniors in need while supplies last. Those interested will drive to the designated area to receive the donation. They must remain in their cars during the pick-up.

“Keeping cool and staying hydrated is very important during these 90-to-95-degree days, and here in Rockdale County, we hope to help provide one of those remedies,” says Chairman Oz Nesbitt on the cooling event.
