Mission
The Rockdale County General Services Department seeks excellence in the development, coordination and implementation of the county’s capital projects including facilities, parks, amenities, SPLOST program management, and county fleet oversight and management.
Services
Capital Projects
- Manages new infrastructure projects including SPLOST and Impact Fee projects
- Manages facility improvements or alterations
Building Maintenance
- Maintains facilities
- Provides custodial service
- Manages maintenance contracts
- Provides courier service
Recycling Center
- Provides recycling and woody debris drop-off to all County residents at no cost
- Provides fee-based disposal service to all County residents
- Provides internal recycling for County departments
Fleet Maintenance
- Provides maintenance service to all County vehicles and pieces of equipment
- Manages all vehicle and equipment purchases through quotes, bids or State Contracts
- Manages fuel contracts including fuel delivery to various sites
- Manages motor pool available to County departments
