2nd Annual 'Walk a Mile in Their Shoes' for Breast Cancer Awareness Announced by Rockdale County Clerk As breast cancer continues to affect millions nationwide, Rockdale County Clerk of Superior and State Courts, Janice Morris, announces the 2nd Annual Breast Cancer Awareness event, 'Walk a Mile in Their Shoes', in Rockdale County, Ga. On October 4, 2024, the Rockdale County Clerk is asking the community, together with the county and city employees, to walk a mile between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Those who choose to participate in the walk are encouraged to wear pink while they're walking. In light of recent advancements in breast cancer research, her goal is to provide hope and uplift breast cancer survivors and fighters. Later that evening, 5:30 p. m.- 9:30 p. m., she will host a karaoke night and Pink Out Costume party at Chiquitos Cantina and Grill, 1161 Old Salem Rd SE, Conyers, GA 30094.
