Director Andrew Hammer

Andrew Hammer, Director of General Services, grew up in Syracuse, New York and graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio.

After graduation, he married his sweetheart from Georgia and settled in Covington in 1995. He built his experience in construction working for a variety of design-build companies and architectural firms before accepting a position as Capital Projects Manager for Rockdale County in 2007.

He is a Certified Public Manager and a licensed General Contractor in Georgia. He has 10 children and enjoys camping and spending all his spare time with his wonderful family.
