ROCKDALE COUNTY, Ga. – Rockdale County Chairman Oz Nesbitt, Sr., will host the first Shop Talk forum of the year. This event, held at local barbershops, connects the community with government staff and officials. This event will be held at The Lab Barber Shop at 1820 GA Highway 20, Suite 158, Conyers, GA 30013, on Saturday, March 18, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This Shop Talk will feature the following speakers to answer questions and concerns from a candid audience:
- Phinia Aten, Rockdale County Magistrate Judge
- Marian McDaniel, Rockdale County Fire-Rescue, Chief
- Sharon Webb, Rockdale County Fire-Rescue, Deputy Fire Chief
- Eric Levett, Rockdale County Sheriff
Shop Talk is a grass-roots approach to getting to know the community by interacting and engaging in an “open-air” dialogue. The series will also introduce government officials and staff to those who may not know who they are, their roles, and their duties and responsibilities.
