Miss Kc M. Krzic is the Director of the Planning & Development Department and has been actively working in providing public service to residents, business owners, and developers in various capacities for nearly two decades. She brings a strong record of achievement combining skills in diverse areas of planning, zoning, economic development, historic preservation, public outreach, land development, permitting and licensing.
Her mission to create strong and thriving communities began at the University of Toledo in Ohio, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning & Development. While completing her studies, she began interning on the regional airport expansion project. After realizing the level of coordination, funding required, public involvement process, and resident relocation; she was “hooked” on community planning.
Shortly afterwards, she went on to earn her Master’s degree in Urban & Regional Planning from Eastern Michigan University, and continued her passion in re-shaping one of the fastest growing Township’s in Michigan.
She moved to Georgia in 2005, and has continued to help define the character and economic balance of communities in the metropolitan area of Atlanta and in other rural areas of Georgia. Accomplishments have included, zoning ordinance rewrites, comprehensive planning, neighborhood revitalization, grant securement, master planning for mixed use developments, program management, public engagement, and department restructuring and training.
Kc is a successful business woman, local advocate, and free spirit. She is a lifelong learner and leader who is committed to working for the citizens and businesses’ of Rockdale County to make it the best place to live, work, and play.
Apart from her career, Kc loves to travel, attend live events, watch the Cleveland Browns and spend time with her friends and family.
