Ethyl-glucuronide

(EtG)

A metabolite formed by the body after absorption of alcohol.  Quantitative EtG (Ethanol) is a semi-quantitative testing method with a cutoff rate of 500.  Once EtG is detected, the semi-quantitative test, will provide a numeric representation of the relative amount of EtG present in the specimen.
Amphetamine

(AMP)

A stimulant that is detected in the urine for up to 48 hours after use. The most common drugs of abuse within this group are amphetamine, dextroamphetamine, and methamphetamine.
Benzodiazepines

(BZO)

A class of drugs primarily classified as anti-anxiety, sedatives, or hypnotics. They can be detected in urine for up to 3 days. The most common drugs of abuse within this group are Valium and Xanax.
Cocaine

(COC)

A stimulant that is detected in the urine normally 2 to 4 days after use.
Opiates

(OPI)

Sedatives that can be detected in the urine normally 2 to 4 days after use. The most common drugs within this group are codeine, morphine, and diacetylmorphine (heroin).
Cannabinoids

(Marijuana/THC)

Can be detected in urine up to 30 days or longer depending upon the amount an individual ingests, the frequency of use, the duration of regular use, and their body composition.
Ecstasy

(MDMA)

Methylenedioxymethamphetamine can be detected in urine up to 2 to 4 days after use.  It is more commonly known as ecstasy and is a drug of abuse receiving notable attention for its use at dance parties called “raves.”
Validity Test Tests that detect any tampering of the urine specimen in the form of adulteration or dilution in order to produce a false negative result. ALS Drug Screening Lab offers the following Validity Tests: Creatinine & Specific Gravity.
Creatinine

(Dilution)

A waste product produced by the body and excreted in the urine. Normal creatinine levels are greater than or equal to 20mg/dL.  Creatinine levels below 20mg/dL are an indicator that the specimen is diluted. This is most likely due to excessive water or liquid intake.
Specific Gravity

(Dilution and/or Adulteration)

Specific Gravity is the density / concentration of chemical particles in the urine.  The normal range is from 1.003 to 1.020.  Specific Gravity levels outside of this range are likely due to excessive liquid intake or the addition of something to the specimen.
Base cost per specimen The base cost per specimen includes all labor and supplies. Supplies include chain of custody form, tamper-proof (security) seals, and biohazard bags. The amount of supplies will be issued according to your productivity.
Breath testing We use Intoximeter breathalyzers.  Depending upon how much alcohol has been consumed by an individual, a breathalyzer can detect alcohol consumption up to 13 hours after the last drink has been consumed.
Multi-panel drug

(Urine)

This is an instant screening device that uses urine. It comes in multiple drugs and prices ranges.
Saliva testing Determines new usage.  Positive results should always be confirmed by an alternate method, preferably GC/MS or GC/MS/MS.
Sweat Patch Manufactured by PharmChem. It is an alternative to urine and saliva. A sweat patch tests for the following drugs: Marijuana, Cocaine, Opiates, Amphetamines/Methamphetamines, & PCP. It can be worn on the skin for up to 10 days or more. Any drugs used during the wearing of the patch will be collected, retained, and detected during analysis.

Disclaimer: All assays used provide a preliminary analytical test result. A more specific method such as GC/MS or LC/MS is suggested for confirmatory testing. All positive drug screens must be considered presumptive until confirmed by such an alternative methodology. In all cases, this test result should not be used for the diagnosis, prevention or treatment of any disease or impairment of, or the assessment of the health of, individual patients.

We offer a wide range of testing options, from instant testing (urine), to lab testing (urine), to alternative drug and alcohol testing (breath and saliva).  We can test for individual drug usage as well as customized drug panels.  Contact us for specifics on pricing.

We also offer specimen pickup services within a specified mileage range, as well as billed shipping services for clients outside driving range.

Results are generally available in 48 hours and are sent by email to one or more destinations.

Our results will show whether or not the specimen is positive for any drugs for which it is being tested. We are available to explain any results to you by either email or phone during regular business hours.

At your discretion, any positive can be sent for confirmation at an additional charge.
