KCRB wins 2018 Keep GA Beautiful Award at Rivers Alive

ROCKDALE COUNTY, Ga. – Keep Conyers Rockdale Beautiful (KCRB) has received another award recognizing their hard work in 2018. On Tuesday April 23, 2019 KCRB received the Rivers Alive, “Keep Georgia Beautiful Award for 2018” at the Rivers Alive award luncheon. Present to receive the award were Rockdale County Representatives and KCRB Board chair.  KCRB has not won a Rivers Alive award since 2014, so this is a major achievement for the board. This year KCRB will be hosting another Rivers Alive event on October 12 at Pine Log Park, more information will be shared later!


About Rivers Alive- Rivers Alive is Georgia’s annual volunteer waterway cleanup event that targets all waterways in the State including streams, rivers, lakes, beaches, and wetlands. The mission of Rivers Alive is to create awareness of and involvement in the preservation of Georgia’s water resources. Rivers Alive is held annually each fall and is a program of the Georgia Environmental Protection Division Outreach Program.
