Chairman Nesbitt to Host 1st Shop Talk of the Year


ROCKDALE COUNTY, Ga. – Rockdale County Chairman, Oz Nesbitt, Sr., will host the first Shop Talk forum of 2019 on Saturday, March 16 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Madd Skillz Barbershop, 2445 Salem Road, Ste. 215, Conyers, GA 30013.

The first event in this year’s series will feature the following speakers to answer questions and concerns from a candid audience:

  • U.S. Census Bureau Representative
  • Phinia Aten, Chief Magistrate Judge
  • Troy Smith, Code Enforcement Manager
  • Dawn Stewart, Code Enforcement Analyst

Shop Talk is a grass-roots approach to getting to know the community by interacting and engaging in an “open air” dialogue. The series will also be introducing government officials to those who may not know who they are, what their roles are and their duties and responsibilities.
