Proposed 2018 Millage Rate to Stay the Same Since 2015
CONYERS, Ga. – The Rockdale County Board of Commissioners (BOC) is proposing to set the millage rate at 20.19, the same millage rate imposed by the County since 2015.
Taxpayers will likely see the same County millage rate for the fourth straight year on their property tax bills. Some property owners who have had a reassessment in the past year, may see an increase.
The public is invited and encouraged to attend the following meetings concerning the millage rate:
- The final Public Hearing – Tues., July 31, 6 p.m. at the Assembly Hall, 901 Main Street, Conyers, 30012. The purpose of this meeting is to gather input from the community. Citizens are strongly encouraged to give their feedback during public comment.
- BOC Called Meeting – , Aug 7, 10 a.m. at the Assembly Hall, 901 Main Street, Conyers, 30012. The purpose of this meeting is for the BOC to vote to set the millage rate. The public is also welcome to this meeting to share thoughts during public comment.
