Rockdale County Implements Voluntary Curfew for Current Conditions

 CONYERS, Ga. – In an effort to ensure the safety of the citizens, first responders and crews restoring power, Rockdale County Government is asking that everyone in Rockdale County abide by a voluntary curfew starting at 8 p.m. tonight, Sept. 11, ending at 6 a.m. tomorrow morning, Sept. 12.

Rockdale County Chairman, Sheriff and Emergency Management Agency (EMA) Director want all citizens off the road unless it is a vital necessity. The public’s safety is key and cooperation will increase turnaround times for repairs.

As Rockdale County continues to monitor the current weather conditions, the County Offices and Courthouse will be closed to the public tomorrow, Tues., Sept. 12.
